The following testimony of God goodness is from Sis. Valerie Stephenson. She is joined in marriage with Bro. Warren Stephenson. The Stephensons are blessed with 3 boys and 1 girl. They are a family in which God has shown much favor and has bestowed his many blessings upon.

The testimony I would like to share is a blessing that just happen yesterday, October 13, 2009.
It's regarding my daughter’s school. She in kindergarten now, and much to my surprise if you want your child to be in full day kindergarten you have to pay $200.00 a month or you can pay $2,000 for the whole year, neither one we could not afford.
A week or so before school started I called the school office and spoke to someone about about the tuition. I wanted to know if we could apply for a scholarship. The lady said yes we could apply for a scholarship. We just needed to fill out some forms. I procrastinated and before I knew it school started. Then I received a call from the school office telling me that my daughter’s tuition was late and a late fee has been added. I told the lady, I spoke to someone about a scholarship and I asked her if I could still apply for it. She said wasn't sure if I could still apply for it. She would have to talk to the principal. She also asked if we could pay part of the tuition. In either case, she said she will get back to me.
I prayed! Two weeks went by and I had not heard anything so I called the school to find out what happened. I didn't want no more fees added on. I spoke to the lady and asked if she got a chance to talk to the principal about my daughter’s tuition. She said YES, didn't I tell you….. everything is taking care of you have nothing to worry about! I said thank God! On top of that, I was paying for her lunch every day and God worked it out to where her lunch is free and I didn't fill out any paper work, God is soooo good.
If we just put all of our trust in God He will take care of us no matter how small or big the issue is. God is there for you! God wants us to lean on Him and to look to Him for the answers.

“Wow! Where do I begin? I will try to make this as brief as I can, telling you short versions of everything the Lord has done for me and is still doing. I pray that you would get the message of how great and awesome our God is. When I first came to Seattle, the day I stepped off the bus all of my burdens were lifted off my shoulders. My cousin opened her home to me and my son. I will never forget all that the Lord allowed her and her family to do for us. She also took us to her church where I met Bishop and Mother Hackett, an anointed man and woman of God. Being under their leadership has been a total blessing. After two years of being in Seattle, God brought this king into my life. God knew what was lying ahead in my life and was preparing us for it. The king He brought became my husband and trust me, he fulfill all of what God intended a family should be like in the Lord. My best friend once said “A spiritual family represents the Holy Trinity”.
Well we began to live our life with God in full control. Everything was great. We both had good jobs and were well favored by our bosses and co-workers and also our son was well favored by his teachers and classmates. The Lord blessed us to purchase a brand new home, actually two homes, with my sister-in-law living in one of them.
In 2003, I was diagnosed with vertigo. Not knowing anything about it and going through the process of the symptoms, I loss total hearing in my left ear. However, I was able to continue working. About three years later, I was transferred to the payment center, after being there for about maybe nine months I became very ill and was hospitalized. I visited several doctors and none could figure out what was going on. They knew of the vertigo but said it was not that, it was something else, but couldn’t figure it out. Each doctor said what it COULD BE and always had the BUT at the end of their answer. In the meantime, my right ear started to decline. I was sent to one last doctor that diagnosed me with auto immune inner ear disorder.
Doing the time that I was going through, God blessed my husband to be so strong. I was at home and all I could do was lie in bed for three months and only go to the doctor and church. Oh yes, I continued to give God the praise, crying out to Him every day. My husband would take our son to school, take him to school activities and then come home and cook for the family.
Our finances became an issue as my husband’s income was the only one coming in. We survived off of our saving for a while. We later end up losing both houses. We returned our car to the bank. Then I started worrying about the bills, our living arrangements, and transportation (This is why God put the man the head) BUT GOD PROVIDED!!!!!!! He provided a home, a vehicle for the family. At my husband’s job, we were able to get a vehicle through there and for six months we didn’t have a payment. He also blessed us with a new home even though our credit was an issue. The one thing we did was never stop praising God through this storm. We kept praising God no matter what.
I truly pray that my testimony will bless and increase some ones faith. No matter what it look like, no matter how it may seem, through it all, He will Provide! You just STAND and watch what the Lord brings you through.”
